Chemical Peels – Obagi Blue Peel Radiance®, Mesoestetic Cosmelan® and Dermamelan®
A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers revealing fresh skin underneath. Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discoloured skin and scars — usually on the face but with latest more advanced peels – also neck, decolletage, arms and any other rough skin areas. Deeper chemical peels like Cosmelan and Dermamelan offer more visible results but also take longer to recover from. Mesoestetic new generation peels improve the glow and texture of the skin with minimal downtime while addressing hyperpigmentation, ageing, acne and blemishes as well as the delicate eye area.
The treatment takes up to 50 minutes and is always carried in a sterile environment. Anaesthetic cream may be used depending on the strength of the chemical peel used.

Professional peel side effects can include redness, dryness, itching or irritation as well as swelling, tightness, peeling or scabbing. Over the first few days post-treatment, skin may look flaky or tan as the outermost surface peels off to make room for radiant, new skin. You may also notice temporarily more pronounced discoloration or age spots as they rise to the skin’s surface before peeling off.
